1. Create the Studded HeadbandStep 1Thread a head pin through seven of the 11 studs. Create the Central Gemstone FeatureStep 1Lay out your gemstones to make a symmetrical pattern and cut a piece of clear plastic to fit underneath. ![]() ![]() ![]() Step 2Glue the gemstones onto the plastic strip ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Step 3Leave to dry and attach to the middle stud using a jump ring. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 3. Attach the PearlsStep 1Roughly measure the length of the first and smallest string of pearls. Remember there will be cord ends at each end. Cut two pieces this length. ![]() ![]() ![]() Step 2Using flat nose pliers, squeeze the circular cord ends firmly over the end of the pearls. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Step 3Attach one end of the string of pearls to the central gem motif using a 9mm jump ring. Now attach the other end to the loop on the second stud from the middle using a 5mm jump ring. ![]() ![]() ![]() Repeat these steps to attach three more strands of pearls, as shown below. ![]() ![]() ![]() 4. Attach the Final Strand of Pearls and the Focal GemstoneStep 1Measure the final length of pearl strand. Unlike the other strands, this will need to drape from one side of the headband, to the middle gemstone, and then over to the other side of the headband. ![]() ![]() ![]() Step 2Attach both ends to the last studs on the band with 5mm jump rings. ![]() ![]() ![]() Step 3Find the middle of this last strand and thread it onto one final 9mm jump ring.
